Rawlings Velo 2.0 & Mach Kits
Rawlings uses one size chart for Velo 2.0 and Mach catcher's gear. The ages are Rawlings' starting point. Confirm with your catcher's measurements using the How to Measure steps at the bottom of this page.

Mach comes in Adult and Intermediate only. Rawlings sizes Mach leg guards by height: Adult for 5'10" and taller, Intermediate for 5'10" and shorter.
Rawlings vs. All-Star AgesRawlings' Intermediate covers ages 12–15 and Adult starts at 15. All-Star's 12–16 size runs a year longer. If your catcher is 15, measure before you pick a size.

Rawlings' fastpitch set, with a narrow, form-fitting chest protector. Rawlings doesn't list ages or heights for these sizes, so go by measurement.

Medium or Large?The leg guards are the same 15.5" in both sizes. The only difference is the chest protector, so choose between Medium and Large on the chest measurement.
How to Measure
Rawlings sizes catcher's gear on two measurements: torso length for the chest protector and lower leg length for the leg guards.
Two Measurements
- Chest: Measure from the bottom of the throat, at the collarbone, down to just past the belly button.
- Legs: Measure from the center of the knee down to the top of the foot.
- Match both numbers to the chart for your kit line. If they land in different sizes, reach out. We can help you choose or build a set from separate pieces.
Rawlings catcher's helmets come in Junior and Senior sizes. Rawlings doesn't publish hat-size ranges for them, so try one on if your catcher is close to the line.
Don't Buy to Grow Into ItJumping a full size so the gear lasts two seasons leaves gaps and lets pieces shift while blocking. Buy for today's measurements.
BTL TipNot sure between two sizes? Bring your catcher by the shop and have them get into a crouch in both. Fit behind the plate is easier to judge in the gear than on a tape measure.
