The Woods Pink is a strong choice for hitters who want a real wood-bat experience without treating the bat like it is only for occasional use. The Mid-Loaded feel gives you enough barrel presence to drive the ball, but it remains manageable through the zone. We especially like it for players preparing for wood-bat tournaments while still needing a BBCOR-certified option for high school or college play. All wood bats we carry are -3 drop. Sizing follows the same principles as BBCOR. Wood punishes poor bat speed more than any other type — when in doubt, go shorter.

BTL TipIf you are playing travel or high school ball in Arizona, you are going to need a wood bat. Most summer tournaments around here are wood bat only. Wood is also the best training tool in the game — the sweet spot is smaller and mishits are unforgiving, which forces you to be more precise with the barrel and build better mechanics over time.
