The Exile carries a little more weight in the barrel than the Voodoo One without feeling as heavy as The Goods. We like it for a strong gap hitter or middle-of-the-order hitter who wants more behind the ball but still wants good barrel control. It has plenty of pop and is a great middle ground for someone who prefers a slightly loaded feel.

The 2027 DeMarini Exile (-3) BBCOR Baseball Bat is a one-piece alloy model for hitters who want direct feedback with more barrel presence than DeMarini’s balanced Voodoo One. Its mid-loaded swing weight distributes additional mass toward the barrel while remaining more manageable than the end-loaded The Goods.

The Exile X14 Alloy Barrel creates a large one-piece hitting surface with the stiff response associated with alloy construction. Because the handle and barrel are formed as one unit, energy and feedback travel directly to the hands rather than being softened by a composite connection piece. That makes the Exile a better fit for hitters who value a firm response and can consistently control a mid-loaded barrel.

DeMarini uses a lightweight composite Tracer End Cap to support barrel performance and swing control. A removable integrated handle taper shapes the lower hand position, while the Damplify Knob is designed to reduce vibration around the bottom hand without changing the bat’s one-piece character.

Our Take on 34" BatsWe almost never put a high school player in a 34". Unless you are 6'4" and 225 lbs or bigger with proven bat speed, a 33" will serve you better. Most HS players swinging a 34" are giving up exit velocity without knowing it. Come in and we will put you on both in the cage.

Will the Exile feel stiff at contact?

Yes. Its one-piece alloy construction produces a firm, direct response. The Damplify Knob helps manage bottom-hand vibration, but it will not feel as isolated as a two-piece bat.
