The 2027 Louisville Slugger Kryo2 (-11) Fastpitch Softball Bat is designed for slap hitters, contact hitters and younger travel players who want a premium composite bat with a light, balanced swing. Its -11 drop makes it easier to generate bat speed and control the barrel while still providing the performance expected from the Kryo lineup.
Louisville Slugger redesigned the GO-EX+ Barrel System with updated composite materials and a larger gap between the barrel walls. The new construction is built to provide immediate, game-ready performance with a softer feel and the strong sound Kryo hitters have come to expect. Players do not need to wait through an extensive break-in period before using it in games.
The two-piece construction pairs the composite barrel with Louisville Slugger’s VTX Connection System. This allows the barrel and handle to move independently, helping the bat feel comfortable when contact is not perfectly centered. The XPND Performance End Cap supports the barrel toward the end while maintaining the Kryo2’s balanced swing.
The Kryo2 (-11) is especially well suited to players who rely on bat speed, barrel control and consistent contact. Slap hitters can stay quick through the zone, while younger travel players get a lightweight option that still has plenty of pop. Louisville Slugger finishes the bat with its LS Pro Comfort Grip for added tack and control.
This model carries USA Softball, USSSA Fastpitch, NSA, ISA and WBSC certifications. The -11 model is not approved for college play.
