The Supra -5 has a balanced feel that makes the jump to a heavier bat easier to manage. We like it for an older, stronger travel-ball hitter who is preparing for BBCOR but still wants good barrel control. It has plenty of pop and fits a gap or middle-of-the-order hitter who prefers the smoother feel of a two-piece composite.

The 2027 Louisville Slugger Supra (-5) USSSA Baseball Bat gives stronger travel-ball hitters a balanced two-piece composite option as they prepare for heavier competition bats. Its APX Composite Technology Barrel creates a large hitting surface with a softer response than a traditional one-piece alloy model.

The VCX3 Vibration Control Connection System separates the composite barrel and handle to reduce unwanted feedback on mishits while retaining a connected response on solid contact. The -5 drop places more overall mass behind the barrel than the Supra -10, making it better suited to players who can maintain their bat speed with a heavier model.

Louisville Slugger uses an XPND Performance End Cap to support the extended barrel profile while preserving a manageable swing. A Premium LS Pro Comfort Grip and Pro Design Knob Taper improve comfort and control for players making the transition toward BBCOR weight.
