The CC13A is similar to an I13, with a long barrel and plenty of hitting surface, but it swings more balanced than a traditional I13. We like it for hitters who want some barrel presence while still being able to control the bat and use the whole field.

The Chandler CC13A is a professional-grade maple wood bat designed around the model created for Carlos Correa. It pairs an I13-inspired barrel with a more balanced swing, giving hitters a long hitting surface that remains controllable through the zone.

A thin handle flows through a long taper into the medium barrel, while the softly flared knob gives the bottom hand a comfortable place to settle. The Clear Satin barrel, black handle and white Chandler logo complete its clean professional look.

Wood Bats

All wood bats we carry are -3 drop. Sizing follows the same principles as BBCOR. Wood punishes poor bat speed more than any other type — when in doubt, go shorter.

BTL TipIf you are playing travel or high school ball in Arizona, you are going to need a wood bat. Most summer tournaments around here are wood bat only. Wood is also the best training tool in the game — the sweet spot is smaller and mishits are unforgiving, which forces you to be more precise with the barrel and build better mechanics over time.

Does the CC13A swing like a traditional I13?

It provides the long barrel associated with an I13-style model, but Chandler designed it to feel more balanced and manageable through the zone.

Is the CC13A only for power hitters?

No. It offers plenty of barrel for driving the ball, but its balanced feel also works well for hitters who value control and use the entire field.

How does the handle feel?

The handle is relatively thin with a mild flare near the knob, giving hitters a secure and comfortable bottom-hand position.
