The MT27 is closest to an M110, but it has a longer barrel, a slightly thinner handle and a little more weight toward the barrel. We like it for gap-to-gap hitters who want more barrel presence without going all the way to the heavy feel of a 243.

The Chandler MT27 is a maple wood bat with a long barrel and a Mid-Loaded swing. Its extended hitting surface gives hitters noticeable barrel presence while remaining manageable through the zone.

The barrel transitions into a medium handle and traditional knob for a familiar grip at the plate. Finished with a Clear Satin handle, Palladium barrel and white Chandler logo, this MT27 combines a classic wood-bat profile with one of Chandler’s cleanest professional colorways.

All wood bats we carry are -3 drop. Sizing follows the same principles as BBCOR. Wood punishes poor bat speed more than any other type — when in doubt, go shorter.

BTL TipIf you are playing travel or high school ball in Arizona, you are going to need a wood bat. Most summer tournaments around here are wood bat only. Wood is also the best training tool in the game — the sweet spot is smaller and mishits are unforgiving, which forces you to be more precise with the barrel and build better mechanics over time.

No. We classify Chandler’s slightly End-Loaded description as Mid-Loaded, so the barrel is noticeable without feeling extreme.
