The MAV1 has a balanced feel and is easy to control through the zone. We like it for contact hitters, gap hitters and players near the top of the order who want to stay quick to the ball. It has plenty of pop when squared up and is a good fit for anyone who prefers a lighter-swinging bat.

The 2024 Easton MAV1 (-3) BBCOR Baseball Bat combines balanced one-piece alloy construction with a large, responsive hitting surface. Its MAV HP Alloy Barrel is designed for hitters who want direct feedback and barrel control without an end-loaded swing.

Easton’s Extra-Long Draw processing creates thinner barrel walls across a wider portion of the bat. The resulting XLD Optimized Barrel is designed to provide consistent performance across more of the hitting surface.

A thin handle and smooth taper help hitters control the barrel, while the Flow-Tack Grip provides a secure connection. The MAV1 is a versatile choice for players who prefer the stiffness of one-piece alloy and want a balanced alternative to power-loaded hybrids such as the Split.

Our Take on 34" BatsWe almost never put a high school player in a 34". Unless you are 6'4" and 225 lbs or bigger with proven bat speed, a 33" will serve you better. Most HS players swinging a 34" are giving up exit velocity without knowing it. Come in and we will put you on both in the cage.
