BTL Staff Review

Gray with chrome is a nice option if you want something that works with just about any uniform. We'd put this CFX Pro in the hands of a hitter who likes a close fit and plenty of bat feel. The flexible back and short cuff make it easy to get comfortable around the handle.

Description

  • Brand: Franklin
  • Series: CFX Pro Chrome
  • Palm Construction: One-piece Pittards Digital sheepskin leather
  • Cuff Type: Short Cuff
  • Floating Thumb Technology: Flexible thumb movement
  • Lycra-flex Bridge: Dual-layered stretch
  • Tectonic Fit Inserts: Flexible backhand
  • Quad-Flex Creasing: Reduces palm bunching
  • Colorway: Gray / Chrome

What keeps the palm from bunching?

The one-piece palm and Quad-Flex creasing help the leather fold with your hand around the bat handle.

Can I move my thumb freely?

Floating Thumb Technology adds flexibility at the thumb, while the stretch bridge and backhand inserts let the rest of your hand move.

Does this have the Powerstrap closure?

No. This is the short-cuff CFX Pro Chrome. Franklin's Powerstrap and Infinite Powerstrap are separate models.
