BTL Staff Review

The RCKLESS GEN 2 Comp -10 has a little more weight in the barrel than a typical balanced -10. We like it for a confident gap hitter who wants more behind the ball but still needs good control through the zone. It feels smooth when you make contact and has plenty of pop for a player who prefers a two-piece composite bat.

Who should choose a mid-loaded -10 bat?

A hitter with solid bat speed who wants more weight behind the barrel without moving to a fully end-loaded profile.

How does the RCKLESS Composite differ from the RCKLESS Alloy?

The Composite has a larger, more flexible hitting area and a smoother two-piece feel. The Alloy is firmer, more direct, and generally easier to use immediately.

Is this a good choice for a first USA Baseball bat?

It can be, but its performance and price are better suited to an established player who can take advantage of the larger barrel and mid-loaded swing.
