The Mizuno GPS-42R Pro Select is an 11.5-inch infield glove designed for players who want a compact glove with a centered pocket and manageable break-in. Its size supports quick glove control and exchanges at second base, shortstop or third base.
Premium steerhide provides durability and structure without requiring the extended break-in associated with Mizuno’s firmest professional leather. Professional-level lacing reinforces the glove, while a secure thumb slot helps keep the hand connected to the glove.
The centered pocket forms beneath the index finger, creating a balanced receiving point. This makes the GPS-42R a versatile option for an infielder who does not want an aggressively shallow or oversized glove.
