BTL Staff Review

This glove is just fun. The Purple, Pink, and Mint design has a ton of personality, but you are still getting a legitimate Heart of the Hide underneath it.

The 11.5-inch shape feels right for a middle infielder who wants control and quick exchanges. It also comes farther along in the break-in process than a traditional Heart of the Hide, so it is a good choice if you want premium leather without waiting forever to get the glove on the field.

Is the Fun Burst design printed?

Yes. Rawlings uses a UV-printed Speed Shell to create the multicolor design.

The Speed Shell reduces weight, while the steerhide palm, leather laces, and 200 pattern provide its core performance.

How much break-in does it require?

Rawlings lists it as 65% factory broken in and 35% player break-in.
