The Rawlings NXT NXTDCTU-10BM is a 12.25-inch first base mitt for developing baseball players who need a position-specific pocket and a closer hand fit. This right-hand-throw version pairs a black shell with mint lacing and pink accents for a look that stands out around the bag.
The DCTU pattern and Single Post Double Bar Web give the mitt a broad target for receiving throws and working on short hops. Its 12.25-inch length offers first-base coverage without moving straight to a larger adult mitt.
Pro-Soft leather is designed to offer an easier break-in, while padded palm and finger linings add comfort. The ContoUR fit uses a smaller hand opening and narrower finger stalls than a standard adult fit, helping a developing player keep control of the mitt as they learn the position.
Choose this NXT for a young first baseman who needs a dedicated mitt with room for the ball and a fit intended for smaller hands. It is worn on the left hand and leaves the right hand free to throw.
