The I13T starts with the barrel size of an I13, but the torpedo shape moves more of the wood toward the area where hitters usually make contact. It stays balanced and has a slightly thicker handle than a traditional I13. We like it for hitters who are interested in a torpedo bat but still want good barrel control.

The Rawlings Big Stick Elite I13T is a maple wood bat with a torpedo-shaped barrel and balanced swing. The profile places more of the barrel around the primary contact area, then tapers toward the end to keep the bat controlled through the zone.

Its 2.5-inch barrel is paired with a .94-inch handle and flared knob for a comfortable, familiar grip. The solid maple construction delivers the firm feel expected from a game-quality wood bat, while the Black finish keeps the appearance traditional.

BTL TipIf you are playing travel or high school ball in Arizona, you are going to need a wood bat. Most summer tournaments around here are wood bat only.
