The BWITT7 is similar to a C271, but the handle is a little thicker and the knob has less flare. It has a balanced swing that works well for contact and gap-to-gap hitters who want to control the barrel and hit line drives to all fields. This maple version comes in a clean Charcoal and Black colorway.

The Victus BWITT7 Pro Reserve is Bobby Witt Jr.’s maple wood bat model, built with a medium barrel and a balanced swing. Its approachable profile combines useful barrel coverage with the control needed to work quickly through the hitting zone.

A medium handle flows into a slightly flared knob for a comfortable connection in the bottom hand. Victus completes the bat with a cupped end, bone-rubbed barrel, ProPACT finish and a Charcoal and Black colorway.

All wood bats we carry are -3 drop. Sizing follows the same principles as BBCOR. Wood punishes poor bat speed more than any other type — when in doubt, go shorter.

BTL TipIf you are playing travel or high school ball in Arizona, you are going to need a wood bat. Most summer tournaments around here are wood bat only. Wood is also the best training tool in the game — the sweet spot is smaller and mishits are unforgiving, which forces you to be more precise with the barrel and build better mechanics over time.
