The Wilson 2027 A2000 1786SS Annual 11.5-inch Baseball Glove pairs one of Wilson's best-known infield patterns with lightweight SuperSkin construction. The 1786 uses an 11.5-inch length, an I-Web, and a shallow pocket designed to keep the ball accessible for quick transfers. That compact geometry makes it a strong fit for second basemen and shortstops, while third basemen who prefer a smaller glove may also appreciate its control.
Wilson builds the A2000 line around Pro Stock leather for the palm, fingers, and other high-use areas. On the 1786SS, SuperSkin replaces portions of the leather shell on the back. Wilson describes SuperSkin as lightweight, durable, and moisture resistant, helping the glove remain manageable through fast infield actions and damp playing conditions. The glove still arrives with the structure expected from a premium A2000 and should be broken in around the player's preferred closing points.
