The Wilson A1000 CM31 trainer brings a compact 31-inch catching surface to catcher-specific practice. Its smaller target is useful for deliberate receiving work, where the emphasis is on finding the pocket and controlling the catch.
The Half Moon Web gives the mitt a closed-web layout, keeping the training work familiar to catchers who use a solid-web game mitt. The compact circumference creates a different target from a typical larger game mitt without changing the purpose of the drill.
Blonde and dark brown give it a classic catcher’s-mitt look, finished with white details. This right-hand-throw version is worn on the left hand.
Use the CM31 as an addition to a regular game mitt for focused practice. The 31-inch measurement describes the mitt’s circumference, not the size of its hand opening.
